Hansen Memorial Museum
Telling the story from the first-person perspective of Anna Marie Hansen Jamison the story of a young girl and her families immigration from Europe to the United States in the third great migration era in US history. The home as built in 1910-1911 and moved to its current location in 1948. Mrs. Jamison lived in the house and used it as an art studio while collecting items to create the current museum starting in 1877. Mrs. Jamison donated the house to the City of Curtis in 1973 with the intended use to serve as a museum to tell the incredible journey that she and others took to locate in America.
